Tiger Light, Clay Feet

Nebuchadnezzar the King of Jews, sold his wife for a pair of shoes”. There are many silly rhymes about Nebuchadnezzar. In the Bible's Book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed that he saw a statue made of gold, silver, and brass, but with feet of clay. Daniel interpreted the vision to mean that the clay symbolized the Babylonian Empire's vulnerability and imminent collapse. Thus “feet of clay” came to symbolise the one terrible weakness in an otherwise much admired, courageous man. Much like Achilles heel. How did Narendra Modi get here?

We have come a long way from NaMo’s high-octane campaigns since 2002 that were laced with lines like “Hum paanch, Humare pachees” or taunts like “Miyan Musharraf”. People called him “Gujarat ka Sher” (Gujarat’s tiger) or “Chote Sardar”. Let’s hear what Modi had to say a week after the 9/11 attacks on the US (1.58 mins):

video

Ahem! Guy recognises Islamic terror. He blames the media and pseudo-seculars for not recognising Islamic terror. In higher office and more power, a person runs the risk of becoming the very person he held in much contempt. Modi can now be safely called a pseudo-secular himself. His frequent utterances on Islamic terror are now baffling to say the least. Sample this:

For a man who was much respected for being politically blunt to becoming a person who peddles the same “politically correct” nonsense is something Modi’s most devoted supporters would not have estimated. Yet he has got there. There is nothing wrong in his economic and development programmes. It’s his consistent negligence of social issues, which I have mentioned earlier too, that leaves much to be desired. Modi appears to have developed a deep desire to play “Miss Goody Two Shoes” when not many would have voted him for that.

Understandable that Modi may not want to offend the “over-sensitive” Muslims and confront them with facts. It would have been prudent to keep quiet rather than be dishonest and say “Islam doesn’t preach violence and terrorism”. Been done 1400 years as he observes in the video above. Understandable that he would want to set up a helpline for Christians over the fake “Christians under attack” campaign. What is shocking is his complete negligence of the alarming rise of attacks and wanton murders of Hindus. In TN and Kerala members of RSS and BJP have been brutally murdered. Silence! In Mysore a BJP man protesting illegal mosque was murdered. Silence! There is an implicit statement in such silence: “Hindus have nowhere to turn or go to but me and BJP while I will mollycoddle Jihadists and fake-Christian tantrums and keep them happy”.

Terrible thing to live in fear; especially when you are the PM. You fear Muslims, Christians, Jihadis, media slander and to some extent even your own bench-warming ministers. Jihadis, anti-India elements should have been wetting their pants and skirts since Modi became PM. They should have been scared of the Tiger. Quite the opposite has happened. From the FAKE “Christians under attack” campaign to JNU, HCU and the latest being the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar. A group of students chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and flying our flag were attacked by Jihadi youth and also the Jihadi police of JK. The MSM and TV channels tried their best to avoid coverage but the outrage on SM and Twitter sent a clear message to Modi & Co – ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! SM folks were in a rage as they compared situations:

It’s an extraordinary turn of events under Modi that a bunch of hoodlums shouting anti-India slogans are in TV studios and prancing around the country with bogus speeches and the ones shouting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” are thrashed up and beaten. Shame on you! Shame on your govt! And what will happen? Before we know it another of those dumb ministers from ModiSarkar will be sucking up to and doing an “exclusive” interview on NDTV – the most anti-India, anti-Hindu channel (JK Deputy CM Nirmal Singh already did with a clarification of his "mild lathi charge" crap). This is a slap in the face of all those who supported Modi for years against the hate-mongering this channel has indulged in against him. Prabhu Chawla in a tweet even insinuated some of Modi’s Cabinet are indeed trying to tarnish him. Who’s in charge?

If the PM lives in such fear of Muslims, how do you expect students in NIT or their parents to live with confidence? How do you expect any Hindu to live without fear in any Muslim-dominated locality or town? In JK the situation seems to have gotten worse under the PDP-BJP rule with overt support for ISIS and brazen flying of their flags and shouting slogans. What does it take a govt to nip this nonsense in the bud? So much hatred and fear against Hindus has been sown in JK that they are no more able to fly the Indian flag without fear of being attacked.

Modi paused his speech at a recent rally for an Azaan call. Seriously? He would have been using dozens of speakers at the rally. How is it that this Azaan call can blare louder than his dozens of speakers at that rally? Why should this go on? It’s not very different in Tamil Nadu or Kerala. Quite a good number of Muslims walk around in Tshirts sporting support for ISIS and the GOI brags no Muslim in India is enthused by the ISIS. Why live in such falsehoods and self-defeating hallucination? After the outrage on SM/Twitter (black-out by MSM and TV channels) the Home Minister was finally moved into some action on NIT Srinagar:

And for all the appeasement and mollycoddling of the Chrislamists? What do you get? Modi is still villified as an oppressor of minorities by the corrupt Indian media who sell their propaganda to foreign media who parrot these idiots. And what is the message Modi, his govt and party sending across to Hindus? I estimate this is their political message:

Go fly a kite. You have nowhere to go. What will you do? Run into the arms of Sonia’s Congress or some other Sickulars?”

This is a dangerous situation. This nonsense of “there is no Islamic terror” is a lie that defeats the purpose of not just combatting terrorism but also in security of Indians and Hindus against Jihadis in places like JK , Kerala and Bengal. They have been left unprotected against the criminals. And to top the stupidity, GOI invites a Pak-ISI team for joint investigations into the Pathankot terror-attack. Which stupid govt ever does such a thing? It’s as comic as the silly Paki duo that frequently appears on Arnab Goswami’s nightly show.

In the video in this post Modi clearly states that for 1400 years one religion has been fighting to establish its supremacy over other religions and to turn the whole world Islamic. He spoke the truth! How did he think they were going about doing this? By singing “Humey tumse pyaar kitna”? That is where Modi’s deception and hypocrisy starts and morphs into what the Congress always stood for. And I had to narrate that old fable about the scorpion and the frog on Twitter:

There are certain parts in India that don’t even look like India anymore. People host all kinds of flags, even Pakistani flags. Fake media campaigns funded by India’s enemies, glorifying Islamic terrorists and anti-national slogans at JNU, bogus Dalit victimisation at HCU and even messing with Hindu temples. This has come to such a pass that mindless cops claim march of students with Tricolour would evoke violent reaction:

Which country is this? And who are these Jihadi cops? There is another cop in Delhi who tweeted religion-stats of the suspects who killed Dr. Narang the dentist. How come all this is happening and nobody in GOI is tightening screws on the orchestrators. Too scared? There is a need for courage. The SC has recently taken up a petition against triple Talaaq by Muslim women. SC has sought opinion of GOI. Let’s see courage from ModiSarkar in supporting the petition. SC has repeatedly appealed for UCC. Let’s see ModiSarkar starting the dialogue on it. You weren’t given 282 to act like 44. You cannot boast of 56 inches and act like 7.86 inches. Hindu temples are not only being looted but also subjected to extortion. What miracle from heaven does it take to stop this nonsense and free Hindu temples from Govt loot?

Tyger Tyger burning bright” is a line from a William Blake poem. The other phrase commonly used is “Eye of the tiger”. Folklore has it that the bright eyes of the tiger is the last thing its prey sees. This “Gujarat ka Sher” need not not prey on anyone but can surely up his “Chowkidari” on Hindu issues and security. He cannot be afford to be Tiger Light with Clay feet.

  1. What a sad state, never in my life I thought a day of this kind would arrive. Can understand the factors that stops Modi from being a pro Hindu PM, but why to make unwarranted statements and moves to please minorities? He can remain silent, something has forced him to change his path.
He took a sly at pseudo seculars when he gifted Bhagavad Gita to Japanes emperor, after that what happened? Absolutely baffling. I can recollect how terrified the Sabas, Aarti Jerats were in TimesNow studio on May 16, 2014. I remember the glee they had when spineless Prakash Javedkar was appointed as I&B minister, sadly those presstitutes might be smiling the same way on seeing Modi's meek surrender.

I from TN where BJP didn't have any say, still I campaigned for NDA vigorously for Modi during 2014. TN is going for elections in 50 days, I don't feel like campaigning at all. My morale is so down, I said to so many friends, relatives, colleagues that Modi is going to make evangelists and pseudo secularists run for their money.

I said there wont be any foreign national visiting India for evangelical activities, but that's not we are seeing now. Smriti Irani called RealityCheckIndia for a discussion, still nothing is done on RTE.

I'm still hoping Modi will do a course correction, will wait until 2019 with my fingers crossed.

    1. Dear Arvinth,

When Modi talks about "Islam doesn't teach Hatred" we should realise that he is actually not betraying us Hindus but positioning himself for Post-2019 scenario where he is likely to loose Majority & would need support of some Sickular political parties.

Do anyone or even Ravinar believe NAMO shall be able to get a majority in 2019 even after all the Sickular parties unite against him??? If yes then you might remember Bihar Tragedy or continue in your Dream world.

Hindus must realise that our War begins & ends with Delhi firmly in our hand. We cannot risk losing Delhi again. Their is no harm in accepting some support from even Muslims or Christians without necessarily copying Sickular parties & their votebank politics. I am repeating here, Hindu related issues must & should be conveyed, Discussed with NAMO but we should avoid pressurising him for them. Sickular parties would thank their stars if we help NAMO's downfall.

    2. Fuck BJP and Modi. Till the time there's a Hindu alternative to give BJP/RSS a run for their money, nothing is going to happen and creating that alternative will take another 20-30 years.

I don't think our disorganized, selfish and money-minded Hindu soceity stands a chance against the highly organized and sophisticated network of Muslims, Christians and Liberals during the next 20-30 years.

And There is no guarantee that the next Hindu leader will not be a Fantastic Orater but Tiger Light, Clay Feet like Modi.

It was LTTE Prabhakaran who kicked out muslims from Tamil majority region Tamil Ellam under his rule when muslims harassed Tamil Hindus.
He was the last ruler who openly took up arms against muslims. Wish someone like him is there in India.
I though it was Modi but he has disappointed so far.

  4. The article expects everything from kerala, TN murders to the last in an University to be controlled by a PM. What an Absurdity? You cannot enact a law and control which is time consuming and with RS not under your control. To go by existing law, in states rules by opposition parties, you have to get the help of these States. Sher has brought a change. That is the first step. Miracles will not happen even the Sher had assured so. But a decisive change has given an edge for a long term solution to correct the ills that have been pointed out. Whether the Sher is progressing that way is the moot question. What is required for a steady approach to eliminate the ills pointed out. Performance of the Centre economically and a governance different from the one all these days people had. All right thinking ppl should criticise here to perform in all the areas of agriculture, education, economy and improved relations with neigbhours and development through investment. It is here everyone has to poke a hole and point out to correct. All round intervention in other places can follow only when the present govt at centre proves beyond doubt that they have done wonders in all these areas. No amount of criticism, however much sarcastic it is, is going to improve matters. Stronger central govt has to be a performing govt. Your hold on States will follow.

    1. @Ramachandran

Do you read or simply vent? Nowhere does the article seek direct intervention from Modi or Centre. JK in particular was under Centre-rule during NIT incident and for sometime has been under BJP-alliance govt. In other cases it is the silence of Modi that is being cited and his deception and hypocrisy over Islamic Terror. Try to read again.

      Thanks

    2. Good Morning and Thank you for the comments on my observations to the article. I reiterate that Centre cannot intervene prior to exhausting existing laws in any situation. BJP-PDP govt was in place when incidence took place. Action by them initially is the normal course. Regarding change of stance on Terror, yes, could have shown more courage to say, no one intervenes from the religion when large scale attacks on public all over the globe takes place.
I have got the message from the article. But showing HM message etc., is of no avail. Every provocation, intervention on major scale from centre should not be expected and allow the local govt to deal.
      Thank you.

    3. I agree with you Ramachandran. As is, the Secular are succeeding in keeping the country in perpetual chaotic state. Heavy handed action by the Modi Sarkar would bring out civil war like atmosphere. So slow and deliberate handling of this pseudo secular created chaos is the call for the day. We BJP/Modi supporters should enjoy open desperation shown by the opposition. They are losing public perception battle. Cool mind is needed. Let us not over-react.

    4. I also agree with Ramachandran in toto. People in their over excitement forget that Modi should improve his tally in LS in 2019 and get a majority in RS too. State elections, therefore, are important. As Phanibhusan says, cool mind is needed. Otherwise, repeat 2004 will be there and all these people again scold Modi as over-acting.

All mot all the leaders who have spoken very courageously all over the world when in opposition have retrained themselves when in power. It is bound to be as now they are privy to the files and the difficulties in bringing up change overnight. We should all help Modi and BJP get next chance to correct the wrong done in 60 years and if we don't then there is no future to Hinduism. Modi and BJP know very well that they don't get common Mulim and Christian votes en masse even if they do a shirshasan.

Also we have to set priorities right - create jobs, improve standard of living, fix the basic but chronic problems afflicting us since decades, fix the defence sector, fix the MSM, take head on the jnu/ftii/hcu types, personally investigate the bjp/RSS caders' murders (in kerala/karnataka with no control on state police,) etc etc. Lay strong foundations for growth first and then take care of other things.

If you actually believe that BJP support base will or should stay home, then we as a nation are doomed forever. Hard core BJP supporters will continue to support him but the non-party voters who voted for him may have a decisive say in the coming elections and in all the elections going forward. Some of them will vote for other parties to teach BJP a lesson but most of them may not vote thereby removing the incremental votes. This will indirectly benefit the CON & Commies and once again BJP will be relegated to opposition benches.

  12. Excellent article. What do you advise, Mr. Ravinar? We live in a world where Islamist terrorism is threat that is worldwide. Given our relationship with our Muslim neighbor, and the venom spewed against our nation, it would be prudent to treat this as a universal threat and deal with it as such, rather than try to counter it by starting a war within. The whole body of people at work against us can be weakened by exposing their Nexus with the destructive elements worldwide, cut off financial and support lines. It is a long drawn battle, just not fought with arms. Weaken the sources of their strength, only then can we do what we need to do. Enjoy reading your posts. Articulate and thought provoking. But don't get blinded by your own reasoning.

  14. The angst of the author is understandable. But we should not come to these conclusions in haste.
Is the govt tightening the screws on missionaries disguised as NGOs? Yes it is. Thousands of such NGOs are shut down. Hidden agenda and nexus of jihadi/communists/secularists/media is getting exposed like never before.
Has the govts media strategy worked? First cuople of years were a disaster. But now it seems to have worked. A good powerful section of media is largely nationalistic now. There is division and fight among the media houses.
Is the govt cutting off international funds for jihadi and other terror organizaitons? Yes it is.
Has the govt supported nationalist students to the extent that law permits in case of JNU and Hyd Univ? Yes it has given total support to nationalist. Action over and above what constitution permits can be counter-productive here.
Regarding Modi's comments on Islam, it is not softening of his stand. This is a clear long-term strategy of Ajit Doval and other security experts on how to tackle Islamic terrorism. You can listen to any number of his lectures on the subject. In short term, you can deal with jihadi forces with aggression, cutting off funds and total annihilation. This is being done surely. But as long as there is an Islamic ideology that promotes terror, it will keep producing jihadis. It will be a never ending war. The long-term strategy is to defeat the forces ideologically from within Islam. So as a part of this strategy, the govt has organized and strengthened certain islamic elements (Sufis, etc..) that are nationalistic, non-proselytizing and moderate, to counter the aggressive and dangerous schools of thought (Wahabis, etc..). I think the author and the readers here ought to give that much room for Modi to act and stop judging his every action through a narrow prism.

    1. Dear rrjoishi,

Completely agree with you. I really feel Ravinar has written this article angrily in a haste.

Although NAMO can do a small course correction in handling issues related with Hindus more aggressively, but accusing him of pampering Psuedosecular's & Muslim votebank is an over kill. Modi believes Hindus would understand the seriousness of his actions & support him.

Unfortunately Hindus have not yet learnt to stand by their leader in thick & thin & allow him some leverage to try new initiatives. Instead we question his intentions ??? NAMO would never say to his supporters “Go fly a kite. You have nowhere to go. What will you do? Run into the arms of Sonia’s Congress or some other Sickulars?” But seriously Do you think Hindus really have a better choice ??? Hindus have waited for more than a century to have a person like NAMO on helm of affairs in Delhi & you want him to loose the bigger picture & instead pick-up road fights with Media & Pseudosecular's ???

That would be such a waste of the opportunity!
Issues such as Lathi charge on NIT Srinagar students or Freeing Hindu Temples are totally diverse issues & such issues should not be grouped together to present NAMO Govt as in-effective.

Then maybe that village idiot Pappu, that egomaniacal fraud Kejriwal, or some other corrupt scumbag will be the next PM. Are they going to bring in the UCC, build the temple, and carry on Modi's development drive? Or will they once again thank you for being stupid enough to put them back in power, and settle down comfortably to once again get fat by milking the people dry? Actually they won't even thank you, these people consider themselves rightful owners of the country. Their indignation at the audacity of Modi in winning the general election was palpable.

Even if Modi turns out to be a colossal failure where the Hindu agenda is concerned, I feel Hindus should vote to ensure that the usual suspects don't regain power, EVER. A seemingly meek Modi, with a good development agenda, is always a better option than any fake junkie Gandhi or Comrade Kejru who will merely tighten the noose around the necks of Hindus even more, not to mention turn the economy and the country as a whole on a backwards trajectory. Does it help anyone if Hindus get all emotional and shoot themselves in the foot, just to "punish" the BJP?

Not that the BJP should be allowed to get complacent in the knowledge that Hindus will always vote for them. I feel more pro-Hindu (or rather, non-anti-Hindu) mainstream parties are required. A monopoly on any product leads to stagnation and complacency.

We have become slaves in our own state, we have been looted and exploited in the name of nationalism, national integration, unity and so on. Our people are dying of thirst and drought while you want to play a silly game and laugh all the way to the bank. What do you want me to do for you to accept that North Indians are committing atrocities in Maha and making our life hell. Crawl on all four, fall at your feet or kiss the ground you walk on?

No one expects him to side with Hindus or Muslims, but he can afford to be fair and square and rule with a firm hand?!! He wont! Because, he has been bitten by the bug of 'Statesmanship' and wants to be remembered like Gandhi or even more, may be?! Most of them who voted for him (like the ones who voted for AK) thought these are different kind of politicians who can bring about sanity in a mobocracy. Looks like it would just be a dream!

  23. Although I understand and share the anguish of the author, I would refrain from putting every single incident or issue on Modi's step for him to take blame. Yes I know, the buck stops with him and leadership matters. But I would like to ask as to who do you think can do a better job? When Modi put his hat in the ring, I don't think he did it for hunger of power. I think he answered the call to duty. For that matter, he didn't even ask for Gujarat CM'ship. He was sent and he delivered.
Similarly he has accepted a massive challenge and he doesn't have much support from his own team members. I that view, I would urge everyone here to judge him by his actions and not words.
Yes, he has been blabbering inanities in terrorism, but has he shown a mellow attitude in dealing with it? Just last week NIA officer Tanzeel Ahmed was killed by suspected IM-IS nexus, as he was involved in investigating cases of terrorism sympathizers. This shows only one thing, that the security agencies are in hot pursuit of these people and they are feeling the so much heat, that they have to literally eliminate officers.
Then on pandering to Christians, yes he had no business calming them down and reassuring them since their fears were unfounded and baseless. However, has he gone soft on the lobby? I don't think so. Check below links -
    http://www.outlookindia.com/website/story/catholic-priests-from-vatican-denied-indian-visa/293276

My point is that dealing with these issues need a lot of smartness and tact. I am not saying that this is enough. However, we cant expect him to be overtly carrying out this agenda in an explicit manner.
Now coming to Hindu causes. I totally agree that I cannot recollect any decision of this government which can be construed as re-establishing parity for hindus. Sadly this is the biggest disappointment. But I don't think he is in a "Hindus have nowhere to go" mode yet. My hunch is that he requires greater room to flex his muscles on these issues in terms of a supporting national narrative. Rajya Sabha deficit is also weighing heavily on his mind. And to all, who are saying that to hell, with RS, I'm sorry to say to provide permanent fix to these issues you need humongous legislative changes. You saw what happened with Land Bill. So I guess, once he achieves his target of economic legislations, he will have a greater room to go for social issues in days to come. The narrative is steadily shifting towards BJP on social issues now. I too am eagerly watching what replay GOI files on UCC PIL in SC.
All in all, Modi will have to realize soon that too much of a playing for long term will not give him 2nd term. Which means the scenario of "Go fly a kite, you have nowhere to go" will come out to be true and we certainly will have nowehere to go or look up to.

Chrislamists across the world are baying for NAMO's blood & here we are crucifying him because he is not picking up street fights with Sikular's on Hindutva! Has NAMO ever said he is not proud to be Hindu ? or he doesn't believe in Uniform Civil Code ? or Chrislamists have birth right to convert Hindus ??? The answer is NO. Then why are we chest thumping at every instigation from our enemies ??? Would Someone Please answer these questions ?

    1. Problem is 3 fold:
      1) Silence on death of so many Hindus in Kerala and Bengal and comments on fake violence against Christians. J&K was similar. But, atleast something is being done after the SM outcry.
      2) Not undoing simple things like taxing temples / not taxing churches / benefits for Haj / No benefits for Amarnath Yatra to restore parity.
      3) Controlling lies peddled by Media. Expecting Social Media to do all the work is not self-sustainable. Not everyone is on SM and the lies being peddled is working to influence a good section of people negatively. Only way is to penalize them.

It can stop scholarships to JK students studying elsewhere in India. It should reduce financial support to force JK Govt to take action ag Police and local students. It can come out of govt.

  27. Im amazed at the comments of some here. Remember, the post is written by someone who has long supported Modi before some of you even started reading this blog. If I were to really trash Modi, the tone and language of the post would have been dramatically different.

Now, for those who are agitated - think calmly. Modi is not being criticised on performance or economy but his negligence of social issues. Had he held a firm hand, incidents like NIT wouldnt happen. Besides sucking up to Islamists with LIES is unnaceptable.

The ones arguing against the post are saying the same thing it already says - that there is no alternative for Hindus right now. And that is a serious problem. The post also does not seek Modi's intervention in every state-related problem. But his deafening silence on Hindu issues cannot be washed away by blind bhakti.

Finally, this is the right time to send Modi the signals of what many think and feel. Sending the signals in early 2019 will not make a difference to Modi or to Hindus.

    Cheers

My only submission on your reply is this :

      1) let's not try & become more Nationalist than NAMO himself as if he is some newcomer to "Nation First" Ideology. He has Governed & win Gujarat 3 times. What he is trying to do is create a Muslim Votebank of Non Wahabbi Muslims which may not necessarily see him as anti-muslim.

      2) Let's not jump & put a Question mark on his intentions. He knows what he is doing & we need not bloat our ego by claiming as if we know better. Hindu related issues need attention & that's what needs to be conveyed to him with respect he deserves.

Talking about Hindu rights & issues has nothing to do with trying to create a non Wahhabi Muslim support. Although Islam has brought immense destruction to the world, Modi was never & shall be never against religion Islam simply because he need not be considering his focus on Nation building.

  29. It would have been prudent to keep quiet rather than be dishonest and say “Islam doesn’t preach violence and terrorism”

2014 verdict was not only against Congi-Commie Criminals and their corruption but in my opinion mainly against so called secularism. People were frustrated..angry with appeasement politics. 1:1 fight started with Rajasthan,Chattisgarh,MP assembly election and it became official last year in Bihar..Who voted BJP to power? The results (break up) were enough to indicate what happened and that's why just before 2014 election Congis tried to woo Hindu voters..even today that retard is going to temples and played symbolic Holi for the first time with Maino..

Things started to change just after Delhi election and only BJP leaders can say why they projected Kiran Bedi and then gave too much importance to that result.

Bihar election was important. And BJP messed up..A media hit job made BJP defensive against a coalition of criminals. Knowing well the displeasure among other leaders, BJP 'Think Tank' included Shabir Ali.. just to get some muslim vote..and that too after denying once. BJP knows it well that muslim vote is controlled by mosques not leaders..(Yes..sometimes,you will find Tanzil Ahmad but i always treat an exception just as an exception..not rule)

And now it's..stopping for azan, regular meeting with Salesmans of conversion factories, sufis (I can't remember even one sufi who openly criticised the notorious AIMPLB and its activities neither against any fatwa..they are just a soft front-end, similar to so called intellectuals who are actually Commie and front-end of Naxals). I can bet anything that NaMo's such cowardly appeasement will not be able to get even .01% muslim vote but surely lose Hindu vote. It will only encourage them and atrocities against Hindus will increase(it is increasing) where they are even 25-30%. And with every passing day..with the same nonsense - “Terror and Terrorists have no religion”.. Hindus are getting more confused as whom they thought as savior is now acting same as the killer..

I am waiting for the day when i will hear the same words from NaMo – there is no proof that Godhra......

Instead, we can give that amount to some Hindu organisations running schools/hostels/hospitals for poor students/people.. Janata seva is Janardhana seva.., we should know. A campaign should be made not to offer any money to any temples, until the Govt., stops misusing this temple fund.

There is something Sinister brewing and the Anti-India Ecosystem has been visible with tangible evidence last so many years, But nothing is yet being done....As Bakths are fond of attributing this to another of Modi's strategy..... But is India late, the planned, synchronised and well integrated flare ups are gaining momentum.

The #Breaking India Forces Nexus is gaining more confidence and seems all "Pilots" have been successful starting Delhi Victory to JNU to NIT... the Model Framework seems being firmed up, a lot of work, Analytics, POCs and investments have gone in... Lets now wait for the delivery, Or will the Gov make its move... can't even say lets wait and watch, the real stake holders of the country will loose Big, very very Big.

#1 Pakistan Strategy: You think Indian Army is anywhere capable of operating like Navy SEAL 6 team? They made a joke out of pathankot operation.. 60 years of corruption and defense in shambles.. Another reason to keep pak quiet is you must first become internally strong, where about 50% of the country even makes a debate out of patriotitc topics, you can imagine maturity state of the country -- cleaning india within is absolute must priority and keeping pak quiet is best strategy even if its India's EGO a bit...

#2 Being outspoken on religion topics: Well he tried that in Bihar didn't he? and what was the result?? D+M > H as Chetan Bhagat puts it.. Well you see H is not really H because it can be easily broken up by our caste systems by easily exploiting the poor...

#3 Sikulars have flourished under this Govt: I agree with this and I think its because of 2 reasons -- a) people may be underestimating how many organizatinos Cong has infiltrted, they can pull a string from so many angles -- still I think BJP can take them up if they were really 282 seats, unfortunately the only guy who can speak well is Modi, everyone else blabbers b) 2nd reason is no one is scared of law in this country, people are not scared to even sit in jail for 2-3 years -- again cong misrule reducing law to a joke

  36. From a nationalist, Modi has turned into an internationalist. The limelight has dazzled him. A small town boy toasted by royalty and rulers. He is now playing to the international gallery by acting as a 'statesman'. As defence expert Dr Brahma Chellaney says, all the globe trotting has not made much difference and most concessions have been on India's part. Like Vajpayee and Advani, Modi is miscalculating that he can win over Muslim Indians. Modi's 2014 success was because Hindus voted above caste for corruption free development and non appeasement. What do we do now? Stay at home and not vote for him? Then we will be jumping from the frying pan into the fire and will be in deep trouble even more. Modi is our only hope today, Amit and Smriti next best. As for Jaitley and such like, my opinion about them is not complementary, to put it mildly. Therefore currently it is only Modi because of NOTA.

BJP supporters and sympathizers in delhi and Bihar did not see the same vigour in his actions after being elected as PM. Forget about actions, he cant even speak strongly against the same forces whom he did before 2014.

All this mann ki bath, tan ki awaz are crap and no one even cares. dont know who is advising him for this "personality change". Its a dangerous misconception if Modi think he can once again play victim and gain sympathy vote by allowing the sickular forces tarnish him. People saw him as victim but a fighter in 2014. They gave him the ammunition to fight. and what is he trying to do? Give up fighting and started negotiation and pleading them. disgustful..

  44. I am avid reader of Ravinar. I have read and re-read his blog posts many times. In this post, I find the author to have gone on the emotional aerial route without perceiving and feeling the ground realities. And there are many commentators here who have said Modi is not taking up the 'Hindu' causes. Is getting the Ram Mandir built, UCC and Article 370 the only 'Hindu' causes or the two other issues - Govt control of Hindu temples and RTE.
Is not creating job opportunities for all (and predominantly Hindus) a Hindu cause?
Is not giving 24*7 electricity to all (including Hindus) a Hindu cause?
Is not connecting the Villages with good access roads not a Hindu cause?
Is not building ports a Hindu cause?

Those of 'us' who are disillusioned with the 2 years of Modi Sarkar for not taking up the Hindu issues, will they be happy when their defined 'Hindu' causes are taken up and delivered? My bet is that these 'Hindus' championing for these causes will grow arrogant and haughty as they will have tasted the blood.

Those of 'us' calling Modiji 'paper tiger' are purely jaundiced and for these 'us', only their agenda matters. These 'us' keep telling everybody that the Hindus voted NaMo for 'Hindu' causes. These 'us' conveniently start to say that the Hindu causes meant the Mandir, UCC, 370, Love Jihad etc and knowingly delete the mention of the economic reasons which are in the forefront of the Hindu cause.

Trying to teach Modi a lesson in 2019 by not voting him is like cutting the nose to spite the face.

  45. The only reasonable explanation I could come up for this modi non sense all these days is this : that he expects all pseudo secular parties to unite against him in 2019 throwing all their differences. So to stop the Muslim polarisation (Hindus never generally polarise, ex:TN,WB,KERALA ETC), he is preparing the ground for the division of Muslim vote. Any other reason doesn't make sense to me.
PS: modi must never try to be a Vajpayee, which I fear sometimes he is trying (I pray that I m terribly wrong), he will be a disaster. Vajpayee was good for his time. Modi must always try to be ' the Hindu hriday samrat'.there will be millions of broken Hindu hearts if he doesn't.

  50. These views surprised me a bit. I recall you blocked me (@neelnabh) for expressing similar sentiments almost a year and half ago. I stay blocked.

We all feared Modi may do an ABV and when we found he allowed the Delhi establishment to assert itself that became a cause for concern. There is nothing wrong in doing an ABV if it serves a larger strategic cause of expanding your political base. Hindu unity is the key to his political success. Modi emerged as a symbol around which such unity could be achieved. He still remains the last hope of nationalists. The image of a decisive, no non-sense doer, a combo of Chanakya, Krishna, and Arjuna, who keeps his ears to the ground, and does not flinch from taking tough decisions was critically important. His opponents, from NDTV to Pakistan, wanted to destroy that image and they seem to have been succeeding.

His silence on Kerala, UP, West Bengal, Bihar, and Karnataka killings and humiliation of his own and other Hindutva workers are obviously a result of his concerted attempts to project a non-divisive, non-Hindutva image to western audiences. It’s a studied silence that has an eloquence of its own. Likewise not being over-critical of Islam is a wise thing to do when you are the PM of a nation that has diplomatic relationships with Islamic nations and wants their money to build roads.

What really flummoxes us is his non-emphasis on 'justice for all, appeasement of none' principle. Likewise, there are other issues where he can take a principled stand without compromising on his 'sab ka saath, sab ka vikas' development plank. Why should he be in the defensive mode without any strategic pay off? His over reliance on bureaucracy and definite disconnect with the grass roots situation is also worrisome. He rarely addresses the issues that are of immediate concern to people. In the past two-years while pulse prices shot up, the PM had nothing to say about it.

He is obviously short of talented people and does not have a team of trustworthy political strategists. Amit Shah is a strategist for good times. Two important developments took place in the past two years. The march against ‘intolerance chorus’ and now NIT Srinagar agitation. BJP or Sangh Parivar had no role in these initiatives. They even tried to play them down initially. SM warriors led from the front, and the official ‘paid brigade’ climbed on to the bandwagon much later. In case of NIT Srinagar the official response was actually pathetic. What does it show? The SM warriors are far ahead of the game. Now, the PMO, or I&B Ministry, or others could make good use of the SM warriors. I wrote to MOS I&B many times that DD News can have programmes on the lines of Mediacrooks or Opindia to expose the devious games of MSM, but there was no response.

The stooges of the previous regime are still ensconced everywhere in key positions and even doing better than before. I can tell you something about the I&B Ministry out of my personal experience. It's the most incompetent ministry of Modi govt. where bureaucrats hold the sway and they report to Arun Jaitly alone. Two years are gone and the old leftist establishment continues to rule the roost..

The Delhi cabals feeds all kinds of figures to the PMO and Modi Ji believes in that. Some time back there was news about the PMO calling up 8 Lakh people in 10 days for feedback on various schemes. The news appeared in ET. If you employed ten thousand call centre employees even then such a feat will be impossible to achieve. The usual twitter handles of the BJP IT cell tom-tommed this enthusiastically.

NIT Srinagar is a test case. And I can see how the official BJP handles are trying to kill the issue and yet not succeeding. If NaMo let these students down that will be the end of his charisma and appeal.

  51. Modi is a shrewd politician. He admired Islam (or gave Islam a clean chit against terrorism) at a function of Sufi Muslims. We know Sufi Muslims are as 'Infidals' as Hindus for majority of Muslims. I have read news that Wahabi Muslims are very angry at Mr. Modi for giving importance to Sufi Muslims. Modi knows BJP has very slim chance to get votes from Muslims. By giving importance to Sufi and Vohra Muslims, if BJP can increase vote share of Muslims from say, ten percent or so, that would make a big difference. As far as this NIT is concerned, Modi Sarkar could have (may be) prevented lathi-charge by police, but it it is doing next best thing protecting students from future attacks and forced Mehbooba to initiate inquiry.

SIXTY years anti national activities on top of 1000 years of slavery has pitted first nationalist government in about 1200 years against confused people who are still bidding for the people who are against the self interest of vast majority of people. Then question comes about the priorities. There are about 200 priorities simultaneously and we require much more RAM than demonstrated by BJP. Fixing presstitutes and anti national media houses are as much important as creating the millions of jobs, because there can not be one solved without another and vice versa. That is how you become prosperous, do not vote congis, commies and their illegitimate proliferated self destructing clones, become powerful, innovate, advance the civilization from where it was
left about 1200 years ago and make once again Arya (meaning noble) people.

  53. Modi's greatest failure is letting the media pigs run riot 24X7 and influence opinion with false hit jobs especially before state elections. He can learn a lot of lessons from Jihadi Amma in clamping down hard on local media:) His finance ministry seems to be a class act in alienating hard working, tax paying middle class and at this rate, BJP has an uphill battle in states.

  54. Well analysed. Was in a cobweb of confusion and deep disappointment with situations last few months but unable to dissect and convince myself to come out of the cloud till read your this write up. Thanks. Frankly, by this almost two year period , I was hoping that some corrupt leaders would have been be in Tihar. Hoped that uniform civil code would have enacted.some terror godowns in Madrasas if any closed. Pak would have faced some bombing if not Nuclear. Some more important roads name changed to great Hindu figures of past. Some Airport/ institutions/ Yajnas / schemes etc names changed from Cong dynasty names. Hoped some news Channel banned , several dreams yet to become reality. When? When?

  55. You are correct to some extent. But you want the results immediately within 2 years. You know that all the enemies who were eparate before 2014 elections are ganged up. The anti India slogans in J&K were happening since 1947. Now you can see them on TV because they are exposed in Modi's era. You will see a change to the positive in Modi's second term for sure. This is what the great Ambedkar in his resignation letter aid about J&K. "Our quarrel with Pakistan is a part of our foreign policy about which I feel deeply dissatisfied. There are two grounds which have disturbed our relations with Pakistan – one is Kashmir and the other is the condition of our people in East Bengal. I felt that we should be more deeply concerned with East Bengal where the condition of our people seems from all the newspapers intolerable than with Kashmir. Notwithstanding this we have been staking our all on the Kashmir issue. Even then I feel we have been fighting on an unreal issue. The issue on which we have been fighting most of the time is, who is in the right and who is in the wrong. The real issue to my mind is not who is right but what is right. Taking that to be the main question, my view has always been that the right solution is to partition Kashmir. Give the Hindu and Buddhist part to India and the Muslim part to Pakistan as we did in the case of India. We are really not concerned with the Muslim part of Kashmir. It is a matter between the Muslims of Kashmir and Pakistan. They may decide the issue as they like. Or if you like, divide into three parts; the Cease fire zone, the Valley and the Jammu-Ladhak Region and have a plebiscite only in the Valley. What I am afraid of is that in the proposed plebiscite, which is to be an overall plebiscite, the Hindus and Buddhists of Kashmir are likely to be dragged into Pakistan against their wishes and we may have to face same problems as we are facing today in East Bengal. "

  57. As some time back R Jagannathan observed, Modi has wasted his honeymoon period without bringing the important bills and reforms. It was a golden opportunity for him to push UCC or Land acquisition acts and many other. Given his popularity and support from public none would have dared to oppose him. But god knows what happen, he suddenly wants to become a world leader and statesman.

  58. Who has more to lose : NaMo or Rudaalis? Who will be harmed more- people or BJP? Brilliant Take by Harshal Khairnar

  59. We are living only in fools paradise.History says that Perception changes for those one who attains the power, privilege, support and what not. We Bhakts are always fence seeters as we feel that not much can be done by us in present circumstances.

So we are the loosers.I am a swayamsevak. Let me assure you that a man like Modi who spent much of his life among the Hindutwa intellectuals and Sadhus can not betray his own people.

Its a matter of time. People around him are very much doing the job except the Shakuni Mama. Let us concentrate all our energy to kick out this clan from the cabinet, which will be beginning to bring Ram Rajya.

The price rise for the essential commodities are another matter , He must make a GOM to look after this issue and take corrective action before it becomes the havoc.

Article of Gurudev is excellent at right time. We must pay heed to his words.

    NDTV

    THE BUCK STOPS HERE

THE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION: Shankaracharya of Dwarka says:

If Women worship Shani Dev, there will be more rapes in society....

    NDTV CAPTION ON THE SCREEN:

    Shockercharya says:

WOMEN IN TEMPLES = MORE RAPES

    WOMEN IN TEMPLES = SIN.

Not a single panelist objected to this shocking MISREPORTING.

The Shankaracharya was talking about Women worshipping Shani Dev.
His statement was twisted to say that if Women enter Temples, there will be more rapes and if women enters temples then it is sin.

WHO WILL TAKE NDTV TO COURT FOR THIS NONSENSE!!!

Has any media journalist gone behind bars until now????

  61. The only solution for all these problems is to tighten the screws of MSM. One thing is clear .... no matter how much good work u do, no matter what justification u give .... it will all be amplified or muted or twisted just to suit there agenda.

First thing first, its been around 2 years for this govt to be in power .... but tell me even one thing the govt has done to tighten all the nonsense & the propoganda that the MSM keeps spreading.

Believe me if something concrete is not done soon to rein in these MSM morons, we will see definitely see BJP exit from power in 2019.

  62. I agree with most of the things that the author has mentioned here and I also feel that, we should not act like congress and aap supporters, expecting everything to be corrected within less than 2 years. Modiji should be given a fair amount of time to execute his idea s.

I believe that the current situation is far more better than what it was. He is being tortured since 2002 and highly doubt that someone can withstand a conspiracy of this scale which is still being continued. Yet, he is working tirelessly.

Imagine UPA-3 being in power now and we all would have been half dead by now, mentally and physically.

I also have felt sometimes that he should have sent a strong message by standing besides the community while they are being converted, tortured, raped and murdered, but who knows he might have something else in his mind(fingers crossed). When was the last time people fought for chanting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai?', more than 60 years ago I guess.

We are being surrounded by all sides and we should stand united at this time, as we have made this happen after 60 years of independence.

Be patient, give him/them some more time(until 2020),start asking questions, raise concerns whenever needed and make them understand that we are the one's that stood by them, supported them, fought for them and made them.

Also remember, if this guy and party can't protect us and standby us, then I highly doubt someone else can(other than KALKI)!

    1. Dear Sree_Chith,

When Modi talks about "Islam doesn't teach Hatred, we should realise that he is actually not betraying us Hindus but positioning himself for Post-2019 scenario where he is likely to loose Majority & would need support of some Sickular political parties.

    GO SLOW....

There are foreign forces with dollars who are very active in our country ....They have now started funding Women NGO's in an attempt to Divide Hindu Society by Gender in the garb of entering sanctum sanctorums of Hindu Temples...

They divided Hindus by Caste and now they will divide by Gender....

If we allow this to happen 2019 is gone!!!

Be careful and Be wise...Go slow....Do not blame Modi for everything.

There are INTERNATIONAL CAUCUSES LOBBIES AND PRESSURES.....and the PM and his team have to be very careful in managing them.....

LETS FOCUS ON 2019 AND THEN 2024!!!

We should be in for a long haul of 25 years....Things cannot happen overnight....Be patient and do not fall into the trap of Psycho Khujliwaal, Mediocre Gandhis, Opportunist SP and JDUs, etc....

BE PATIENT....MODI IS RIGHT ON TRACK!!!

  68. I thought that Modi was a statesman and would not back from taking tough decisions, but he is acting like a narrow minded politician. During 2014 election, if Modi was taken out of equation, BJP was as bad as Congress. Looks like 2019, including Modi with BJP will be considered as bad as Congress. Modi cannot run the Govt with bunch of brokers in his cabinet. Except Manohar Parrikar, Suresh Prabhu and Piyush Goyal, all are either brokers or jokers.. Modi is certainly losing his base.
