Arnab's Political Cleavage

(This is a MaxiPost)

Things are not going too well for rant and scream Times Now it seems. They lost LS 2014, loss of Maharashtra, Haryana and probably more losses to come. Then they had egg on their faces over the Black Money issue. Arnab Goswami and his band of circus clowns are truly upset. And as days pass they get more filthy and vulgar against their targets; usually the BJP. It wasn’t even 24 hours since the new Haryana CM had taken charge that the TimesNow goons were stalking him about some Khap Panchayat or Hindu Mahasabha statement on how girls should dress. The CM just responded by saying he will do what is right by Haryana. That’s a mature response from someone who has just taken charge. So, from October 28 till October 30 evening, Arnab and his petty goons carry out a campaign against the Haryana CM. Perhaps the fact that the CM (apart from winning the elections) has promised action against Robert Vadra (darling of our media crooks) and DLF land deals is annoying Arnab and some of his G-37 members. Arnab, who otherwise proudly claims TN is the ONLY channel exclusively reporting this or that, screamed other channels were not reporting on this. So he not just wants to run a filthy campaign but wants the rest of the HATO club to back him up. Nice!

What’s the problem? That some chap in a Khap or Hindu Mahasabha said girls must not wear jeans indecently and that girls should not be allowed to use mobile phones. That some vague chap says such things is enough for morons like Arnab to go on a 3-day rant against the BJP should tell you what the agenda is. It has been so in the past and it will continue. There are a lot of people who say things. There are many Mullahs who issue fatwas at the drop of a goat. There are many politicians who utter nonsense about causes of rape. You may want to condemn such wanton rants but when you turn it into a campaign of hatred, especially against those who wear “saffron”, then you cannot hide your agenda. Cleverly, the shameless Arnab titles it #NewIndianTaliban. (Dear C5M please do note who starts the labelling and name-calling, don’t whine later). Let’s sequence the nonsense first. Since the bigger moron sets the agenda, the smaller morons of TN believe they have the right to scream, rant and chastise anyone they call on their show. There is an absolute filth of a character called Anand Narasimhan who thinks he’s the little underwear of Arnab and must behave worse than Arnab:

Regardless of what my tweet says, this pathetic Anand calls a person on his programme, asks a question then goes into a stream of heated abuse and name-calling at his guest without allowing a second for that guest to respond. I wonder if this guy gets a heavy shot of testosterone before he goes on his show or if his hormones are permanently raging. He is the TV version of the street brawl of Rajdeep Sardesai. I have little doubt that if Anand were to do the same show on the street he is very likely to beat up his guest. And they think this will be applauded as journalism. Such goondas are the real NewTaliban who float on TV channels. Uncouth in their conduct, uncouth in their language and tone!

Whether the Hindu Sabha says it or some Khap I doubt most Hindus pay any heed to it. In addition, the Hindu Sabha guy on the show said the message is for members of the Sabha and not for all of India. Hindus are not dictated by “fatwas” by anyone. Hindus don’t have “bosses” to dictate to them. Their dress-codes and social conduct are mostly guided by their family norms or parental norms. I wonder what it takes media morons to understand this simple thing. Even so, given that Arnab and his goondas were targeting the BJP, neither the BJP nor the Centre or Haryana CM had endorsed any utterances by those folks. Besides, if these are “fringe” elements as Arnab calls them why would anyone debate their utterances for three days? What’s all the rage for? I guess it has to do more with politics rather than social concerns for girls or women.

Let us also get one thing clear. Not just in India, world over parents do care about how their kids dress and conduct themselves. They care about the safety of their kids, especially girls. That doesn’t make them Taliban or dictators. They don’t stone or behead their daughters for violating dress codes. Something our media morons don’t get. To be dressed appropriately for the occasion is a social norm everywhere. You don’t go to a Church in a bikini. You don’t chew gum in a temple. You don’t wear shoes into holy places. All these are not laws. These are social practices. There are many offices, clinics and shops that don’t allow shoes inside. Does any law mandate that? So what’s all the rage for on someone’s opinion on these matters? Even if you feel there is an issue, you report it, debate it decently and draw attention to it. Why the rage against a political party and new govts that have just taken charge. It’s politics and nobody is being fooled. Let us look at a small video from the movie “Man of the house” where a detective is lecturing 5 young girls who are witness to a murder. His job is to protect these girls from the murderer and keep them safe. Let’s watch (1.47 mins):

video
That is just a comedy movie but where do these dialogues come from? Obviously from the concern for safety of the girls! Teenagers are mostly in schools or colleges. They mostly don’t allow mobiles in such premises? Till they attain an age when they can decide for themselves and take care of themselves most parents do have certain rules on these issues. They aren’t Taliban or dictators as TNow morons would make them out to be. So on Oct28 and Oct29 Arnab and his hate-filled anchors rage against BJP and on Oct30 morning they claim the whole of India has spoken out strongly against the #NewIndianTaliban. And who the hell is “whole of India”? Here you go:

So they catch hold of some Farhan Akhtar for soundbites and then claim the whole of India is up against #NewIndianTaliban. Of all the millions of Hindus in this country they had to get a Muslim to endorse their nonsense? There is seriously a problem with a Muslim commenting on such topics because these celebs are hypocrites when it comes to their own community. On Oct28 TNow had the stupid Saba Naqvi ranting on the same topic on their channel. So I had to ask a set of questions on how a Muslim woman who cannot stand up for the prejudices and shabby treatment of women in her community is pontificating about social norms of Hindus:

Since she was lampooned on October 29 in many tweets in the morning, TNow avoided calling her again during their nightly-rant show on the same topic. I am confident Saba Naqvi cannot answer a single question in my tweets and she and the Akhtar types do not possess the wisdom or moral authority to lecture Hindus on social norms. That said, the nightly rant continued on Oct29 without Saba Naqvi but this time they had the usual suspects Ranjana Kumari and Vrinda Grover. These women come on every show about some stray Hindu group or politician making statement but when real violence happens they are tongue-tied and disappear totally. I want to ask the Muslims and these female warriors what justice and action they have sought against people who assaulted and beat up a young Muslim girl called Benazir Suraiya in Bhopal when she merely advocated Vegan Eid:

You can protest peacefully but you go to the extent of beating up a girl because she carried some placards for Vegan Eid? This physical assault is tolerable for Arnab and his bitchy anti-BJP panellists but mere verbal utterances are enough to send them into hormonal rage. What does Saba or Farhan have to say? They can’t get their own to behave but are prompt in sermonising the Hindu community. It is this diet of hypocrisy that the scavenging, disgusting anchors like Arnab feed on day after day to get their 3 square meals. Gutless morons! Why are Hindus, or for that matter anyone, wrong in telling young girls to dress carefully. While I don’t support public diktats I think the warning should be more because the very scumbags from Arnab’s company (TOI) will be looking for their cleavages, body curves to take pics of and sell as smut through their pages and websites. And they will claim they have the moral right to shoot pics of women’s cleavages without their permission too. The very people who gorge on such smut are usually the ones who also sermonise on women’s body to be respected on stupid TV shows:

So these people who sell images of women’s body-parts for a living are ranting? Then their common question each time is why not the same advice for boys. Well, I don’t see pages of TOI or other newspapers and magazines selling nude or semi-nude pics of boys all that much. Clearly, the flesh of the young woman is their trade. Naturally, society’s warnings, therefore, are more directed to young women. I’m not finished yet. These media pimps who constantly sermonise Hindus or some Swamis on their utterances on dress-codes, they are the ones who delight in gross sales of Nipples, Tits and Asses of women. Here you go on how the media “Dumbs down” people with their nonsense:

Even Outlook has celebrated Serena William's rump, Padma Lakshmi's cleavage and more. Almost every newspaper has plunged into the war of colour supplements. In a Hindustan Times (HT) story, "Who will dare to bare at LIFW (Lakme India Fashion Week)?", the reporter writes: "Last year, Jesse Randhawa walked out in a nipple-revealing top which Randhawa says slipped, but what a slip—this time's lifw promises a lot more transparency on the ramp and lots of T&A." (Tits & Asses) Shobhana Bhartia, vice-chairperson, HT, when shown the story and the accompanying photo of semi-nude models, said, "These pictures and language certainly upset sensibilities. A decision was taken that we shouldn't have such pictures as our paper caters to the entire family, not just adults. However, sometimes things slip in." When informed that some paper vendors in east Delhi had been instructed by families to deliver HT without the supplement, she asked: "Is that really true?"….Says Bhartia, who has been trying to jazz up HT, with some success, "We want to develop a bond with our readers, especially the younger ones... Most papers and magazines today work to the marketer's 3F formula of Food, Fashion and Fornication. The first 2 Fs, editors openly admit, is a part of success, the third one they say doesn't play a part. But how do you explain a news agency report about Madonna turning to spirituality accompanied by a picture emphasising her cleavage?”

So they are bonding with younger readers and viewers? With what? With soft-sex and fornication? Will Arnab explain why his mafia is selling women’s bodies to attract the young ones? And he and his Taliban have a problem if girls are advised to be dressed decently? I had written all that in a post long ago. And if you care, you can read the whole stuff at “DegenerationX”. That article was written long before TimesNow was born and the pathetic panellists who now lecture us have watched all that nonsense grow in front of their eyes. Many of the very same self-righteous morons who rage and agitate at some stray comment on dress-codes also attend all these Tits and Asses shows that portray women as nothing but sex toys. They love this flesh trade but want to agitate because they want to hide their “political cleavage” under the garb of constitutional freedom and feminism. Arnab’s TOI group is the biggest one that has exploited young women as “Flesh Bimbos” and that is what sensible parents don’t want their girls to become.

Stupid Ranjana Kumari rants these Swamis should be put behind bars on Arnab’s show. On what grounds? Did she demand the same for those who assaulted that Muslim woman in Bhopal, which is a serious crime? You are free to disagree and even debate. But this excessive outrage over 3 days is nothing but “political cleavage” of all these folks that is on display.

They are still angry that the BJP is at the Centre and is now in Maharashtra and Haryana. Arnab and his goons stalk the new Haryana CM and rant about him but these cowards have no guts to get anywhere near Mamata Banerjee whose party is allegedly involved in a major terror racket. To these cowards some stray Khap utterance is important enough to rant and outrage for 3 days but not an issue of national security which the Bengal CM is seriously embroiled in. Because if these bitchy anchors get anywhere near MamataB they would be beaten up by terror-gangs. They find it safer to rant against some Khap or Hindu Sabha which are “soft targets” and easy pickings. If this is not political hate-mongering, what is it? And many of these debates are “wag the dog” distractions to cover-up real issues. Once the evidence of Trilokpuri riots came out all the media pimps are hiding over the issue.

On a lighter note, let’s go back in time. In October 2013 the eastern coast of India was facing the threat of hurricane Phailin. All the channels had lined up weather specialists to report on it. Here’s the woman who was reporting on TNow:

Nothing wrong in what the lady is wearing but she certainly aroused more interest than her weather reports. After some tongue-lashing on Twitter, TNow did not repeat her reports. Why? Were they scared her dress would get more attention that the report? Does she not have the right to wear what she wants? Where did all the freedom to dress and liberal nonsense disappear then? Nobody gives a damn! Dr Subramaniam Swamy even told “Naxal woman” Kavita Krishnan (on an NDTV show) she can run around in a bikini if she wants. Nobody gives a damn. But these fake debates are nothing but “political cleavage” of Arnab Goswami and his cowardly goons that constantly show up in their urge to slam the BJP for no reason at all:

A recent video that went viral shows an actress who walked the streets of New York for 10 hours to make a point. During her walk she encountered about 100 cat calls, mild insults and teasing. This is an actress called Shoshana Roberts:

You can read the report and also watch it on Youtube. Do note that the woman is not semi-nude or badly dressed. She is fully-clothed yet she faces these cat-calls and whistles. She wasn’t touched, shoved or molested physically. It is all very nice to talk about changing “mindsets” as our media morons frequently do. But the reality is there are many parts in India where this would go far beyond mere verbal cat-calls. An advice on dressing modestly is not meant to curb freedom but as a precaution. Parents understand this well. Only those who actually get thrills from the flesh trade in media rant against such precautions. Merely ranting against stray comments will not make evil go away.

Have to remind all these pathetic anchors and panellists who are filthy hypocrites: The young women being advised do not live in your stupid studios. They are in the REAL world of offices, buses, streets, trains, autos, taxis where they do face threats whether you sick morons like it or not. Whether you like it or not, in some parts of this country, evil does stalk the streets, public transport, and even schools. And that is the reality; ranting endlessly against those who advise precaution will not help.

A student was recently arrested in AP. The reason; because he made a Facebook post stating the cyclone Hudhud caused devastation on people of AP because they didn’t vote for YSR Congress. As stupid and silly as that may sound, is it worth arresting someone for that? It may offend some people; others will just laugh and move on. We may not like everything we hear but there is no cause to excessively outrage over mere utterances or opinions of stray individuals. It is morons in media and politics who have brought about laws which lead to arrest of students for uttering silly stuff. Ranjana Kumari wants our police to arrest some more, prodded by imbeciles like Arnab as if our police are sitting idle with nothing to do. This is not a social debate. This is nothing but political cleavage and bikini of Arnab on display.

I do feel and believe they may be legally made to shut shop and look for alternative jobs in not so far future. Declaration of Our Sardar's birth anniversary as National Unity Day has put dynastic sychopants in a pretty odd situation. There is no disrespect for a person and party that divided people by caste and religion. A few good deeds are done even by most dumb during their lifetime.

  20. A timely article on "X said this, X said that" journalism. They have their freedom of speech like any other Indian and Arnab and his G-37 would do well to understand this.

Sadly, Arnie's angels are learning his brand of taliban journalism from him characterized by

-Not moving out of the studio (occasionally move from Indian studio to American studio),
-throwing offensive questions as endless monologues
    -shouting down opposing views
-not extending the courtesy of a response to any participants (except his G-37)
-passing off highly opinionated views as news
-not reporting news but giving "expert" views without any research
-never ending sermons on everything under the sun

These cubs could learn a lot from Amir Khan and Satyameva Jayate on powerful presentation.

  22. Arnab comes with a pre-set agenda for a debate conclusion.

Any speaker who says things which seem to be on track for such pre-set conclusion, Arnab lets him speak without much interruption.

Anyone who challenges this agenda, is not allowed to speak.

The question is repeated endlessly to him without a pause. This gives an impression to the viewer that the guest is trying to side-step the question and Arnab is trying repeatedly to bring him on track. In reality, the guest is not being given a chance to get his voice heard.

Worse, ONLY on Times Now News Hour, there is a time lag between the ending of the question by Arnab in the studio and what the guest hears from the remote location. This gives the impression to the viewer that the guest is dumbfounded by the question. In this gap, some other guest starts losing his patience and begins further interrupting. This is because ONLY on Times Now that so many guests are brought together - atleast 8-10, whereas on other channels like CNN IBN, NDTV and HT, the average number of guests at a time is around 3-4. Hence the level of cacophony is very high at News Hour and not a single guest is able to do justice to the topic

If Hindus and Jains and others want to eat vegetables etc let them eat, nobody is forcing them to eat meat, pork or beef. Jains forced the BMC in Mumbai to close abbatoirs during their festival depriving non-vegetarians of their right to eat fresh meat. Vegetarian communities do not allow non-veg people to buy flats in their housing societies.

    2. What's wrong if Vegetarian communities don't allow that ? Being vegetarian is more PURER than stuffing ur stomach with dead animals. Its like dumb student of a class complaining that intelligent students get all the accolades so they should stop being Intelligent.

    3. Dude it is unconstitutional, even racist that is what is wrong with it. I don't care what is purer, all I care for is the fact that under the constitution vegetarians are not supposed to discriminate against non-vegetarians in such matters or any other. If vegetarians want to discriminate then let them acknowledge they don' t to live by the constitution and law of the land. The very concept of India then flies out of the window. Good for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

    4. Dude, Vegetarians are also not imposing on you guys to be Vegetarians. They are only refusing to allow you into their houses / society. They are just exercising their Constitution provided "freedom of choice". By trying to force yourself into their domain - You non-vegetarians are behaving like a "Goonda" - which can be constitutionally Punished with a big Jail term. So U decide now - if U want to abide by the Constitution or go against it & be in Jail ?

    5. In other words they want to discriminate against non-vegetarians and not let us buy apartments in their society. This is pure apartheid. India should make it official, we don't mind that. But let it be official, let the government come out with an order to that effect.

    6. Expressing a freedom of choice is NOT APARTHEID. Better learn & understand words like Racist / Apartheid properly before freely throwing it around. Apartheid is "forced Seggregation of races". WOULD YOU SIT AROUND A GUY STINKS ? OR TALK TO A PERSON WHO HAS BAD BREATH ? Same is the way, we Vegetarians avoid you.
BTW, if you go around & file a PIL to get a forced entry into a Vegetarian housing Complex - You & ur case will be thrown out with Contempt - so don't every try it !!!. Further, No vegetarian is imposing his food habits on you guys ; you are free to eat all animals & Rodents that walks, crawls, flies & swims.

    7. I have no problems with your choice of whom you want to have as your neigbours, or your freedom of choice as you call it. But make it official. Pass laws to keep non-vegetarians out of your housing complexes, no problem at all. Put up sign boards that say vegetarians only, non-vegetarians not allowed and so on.

  37. I knew on Oct 28th , You will write a piece on this.....

Most Interesting part is its 1 day of Harayana has CM , And Arnab has a problem with some statement from some person.

KHAPS has a history of giving such statements , did arnab bother about those statements so much , this long.

This clearly proves that Congress's Money has reached Times Group and times now has started responding to the same.

    1. Timesnow News hour debates have become more and more judgemental onesided and mostlly anti BJP.Previously hey behaved like a spokesperson ofn the Congress. Stillare not too much critical ofthem thogh they take the first opportunity on the BJP They politicians, I am afaraid are afraid of raising their voice aagainst Arnab. For they are taking that as media trials.
The Times now Anchors assume thay have onely privileges to ask questions. They rarely give time to resply. More importanatly, the News Hour debates aremore like parliamentary debates where human beings rarely talk!
They muffle the voices of the replies. The Group37 persons rarely speak. They only shout. Samajwadi Paart goons toexcuse.

  38. Arnab is a partisan hack and a general mf. I hate these saffron fatwa people, but they have been around forever. And, unlike Islam, in India, they have not found place in wider society. They bother me, but what bothers me more is that these boobs go around talking about saffron nuts on national television, which makes them feel more important than ever. And that turns them into a real problem. Kind of like Indira turned Khalistan into a real problem.

  41. Suggest that youngsters or adults are penalized for their wrong doings by the fast track courts could be one of the factors which will ensure that the boys behave themselves. Unfortunately the migration from villages to urban cities, resulted with unknown neighbours and hence there is no fear factor .... unlike in villages, one wrong doing entire village is in front of the house and even the house members are ashamed and exert influence on the single wrong doer.....

  42. much of the society is going the wrong way due to cinema (hip shaking & plenty of frontal flesh exposure, and constant bombardment of sexy images in daily news papers particularly The Times of India which for many decades used soft porn to promote their circulation. Newspaper turned into tabloid.

  43. How correctly you have stated...Times Now (and other MSM crooks) have lost the LS, and Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections! They are indeed as much losers as the Congress is.

I am sure the bimbo C5M must be pleased that you included a personal message to her :D.

All those people who rant on the show, perhaps their own children should be invited on the show as well. It would be nice to see how these morons balance their rants with the advice they would give their own children. Somebody rightly asked Kejriwal if he plans to send his daughter to the Kerala Kissfest that AAPtards promoted so much.

I had seen a documentary about how they have special programs in the Scandinavian countries to encourage girls to take up Science and Engineering professions. One of the reasons mentioned, why fewer girls join these streams, is the lack of role models. Girls are constantly bombarded with images of actresses and models in newspapers and magazines, and this distorts their view of life. At an impressionable age, when girls should learn about women's achievements in various fields, they see such trashy reporting of women. I am sure rags like ToI add to this mess in our culture.

I see no way out other than to stop subscribing to such trashy rags and channels.

  44. Brilliant stuff mediacrooks, may God bless you and give you more strength. You are not just presenting your personal opinion here for ppl to read, but you are educating ppl and helping them to take a stand on issues regarding which they were sitting on the fence until now. Just like me. Thank you.

  45. I am no fan of Arnab Goswami and I do tend to switch channels as soon as I hear him talking... which admittedly is ALL the time and I just cannot bear to listen to him... But with all due respect, I think you seem to have lost your thought process while writing this blog. What was the point of this blog?

    1. Are you trying to say that Arnab Goswami is an idiot in which case if he had yelled and screamed that the guy was absolutely right in saying women should dress better you would still have called him a "TN Moron" and and this blog would have taken a different direction?

    2. Or are you trying to say that irrespective of what Arnab Goswami says and how he says it, the guy is somewhat right... after all who would not want to protect their daughters one way or the other? So we cant teach our sons to behave but should tell our daughters not to talk on mobile phones or wear jeans or laugh out loud coz well you know... it attracts attention of the wrong kind.

    3. Or basically BJP is right and whatever they say is the right way to think. So how dare anyone says differently?

I am not trying to start a debate on whether that is the right point of view or not, or whether BJP is right or wrong I am a huge supporter of BJP and to each his own I say. What I do want to know is what is the point of this particular blog?

    1. Hello Neha,

Funniest of comments I read among all. In your rage you forgot to read the article completely. The BJP is not involved in the issue at all so where is the foolish question of BJP right or wrong? Exactly what Ravinar proves is that Arnab has fooled you enough to believe BJP is involved in this whole issue. This is what Arnab has been doing, trying to blame BJP and Modi for silly statements of so called fringe elements. You claim to be a BJP supporter but you have been thoroughly fooled by Arnab and the MSM crowd.

    2. Hey Sonnet!

Hmmm.... I didn't mean to sound like I was enraged... You are probably right though. After reading three-quarters of the articles which meandered through so many inane and conflicting issues and written with what I consider to be part rage and part righteous indignation, I found it so irksome that I didn't have it in me to read the remaining quarter, and to be honest I am not going to even attempt reading the rest of it.

Kudos though for focusing on the politics and not making this an issue about the kind of clothes women should wear. I was expecting some rather nasty comments.

Thank you for keeping it civil.

  48. Hard slap on arnab's face raviji.

Probably he will think twice before doing something like this.
He is the biggest moron in MSM today probably bigger than burkha and the couples rajdeep and C5M probably because they are jobless.

I would love to see him get thrashed again like the way kailash vijayvargiya of BJP and dr vaidik thrashed him once.

  49. Arnab should seriously think about changing the name of "News Hour" to " "Rant Hour". Also, "Scream Now" is more suitable than "Times now"!!

  50. Arnab Goswami is TV version of Taliban Mullah. That's why he never condemned the attack on innocent Muslim girl who was campaigning for Vegan Eid, but readily abuses Hindus and Hindu leaders either anonymous or synonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  51. There is one more reason why Mullah Media Chief Arnab is extra abusive on Haryana CM than other BJP CMs. That's because Haryana's new CM Manohar Lal Khattar was also an RSS Pracharak just like PM Modi was. There you go. By attacking M L Khattar, Times Now group of evangelists taking revenge on RSS, BJP, Modi and Hindus all at once.

  55. This lackeys are not yet out of sever effect of the jolt BJP under the leadership of Modi has given them. The boot public has given to their pro- imperial and anti-Modi propaganda is beyond their comprehension. On each success of Modi this bunch of idiots are ushering more and more into the state of delirium. More over social media has given a severe blow to their monopoly under which they used to carry out propaganda of deceit. Before they die their natural death, we may see them going more hyper. Only thing we who care for the social health of the country have to help persons like Ravinar in the battle against this crooks in the media and their cohort.
These hypocrite so wishes let their family women-daughters, sisters loiter in the dresses they choose to expose their body parts in public. We promise that public will not rant. Is Freedom of expressions preserve of only studio-idiot feminists only? As rightly questioned by Ravinar these feminists get vociferous only when opinion or views of such kind are expressed by Hindu personalities. As rightly pointed out it was not fatwa, it was person’s opinion but the way they made mole of mountain as if someone has come to their house and pulled down their jeans. When under the cover of religious tenets women’s freedom is controlled and are kept in medieval ages and indirect encouragement to rape is provided by stupid decrees, complete cowardly silence is observed by same gang. In that case guarding the religious sentiment becomes paramount to such secular-bigots.
